    FAQ

    SIGN COMPANY QUESTIONS?

    • What services does Tri-State Signs provide?

Tri-State Signs is a full-service Cincinnati sign company. We design, engineer, fabricate, permit, install, and service custom signs: channel letters, monument signs, pylon signs, wall and storefront signs, digital Watchfire LED message centers, interior wayfinding, ADA signage, and lobby dimensional letters. We also offer sign manufacturing, OMAX waterjet cutting, and national sign programs for multi-site brands.

    • What areas does your sign company serve?

We are headquartered at 9077 Sutton Place in Hamilton, OH, and serve Cincinnati, Hamilton, Mason, West Chester, Fairfield, Blue Ash, Florence, Covington, and Newport, including Butler, Warren, and Hamilton counties in Ohio and Boone, Kenton, and Campbell counties in Kentucky. Multi-site brands are covered through our national sign programs.

    • How long do sign repairs and new signs take?

Most sign repairs and face replacements are scheduled same-day or next-day. Standard channel letters and monument signs typically take 4–8 weeks from approval to install, including permitting. Custom fabrication and large-format pylon signs run 8–12 weeks.

    • Who handles the sign permits?

We do. We pull our own permits in Cincinnati, Hamilton County, and surrounding jurisdictions, and handle the drawings, zoning variances, electrical permits, and engineered stamps when required.

    • How does pricing work for custom signs in Cincinnati?

Quotes are free, and every quote includes design, permitting, fabrication, and installation. Channel letter sets typically run $3,000–$8,000 installed. Monument signs run $5,000–$15,000. Pylon signs range from $20,000 to $100,000+ depending on height, cabinet count, and structural engineering. Digital Watchfire EMC pricing depends on pitch and size.

    • Are you licensed, insured, and UL-certified?

Yes. Tri-State Signs is fully licensed, insured, and UL-certified for electrical signage. We carry general liability, workers' comp, and auto coverage on every job and provide certificates on request.

    • Do you handle national multi-site sign programs?

Yes. National sign programs is a dedicated division. We manage multi-site rollouts for franchise systems and national chains, including permit navigation, fabrication consistency, scheduling coordination, and field installation supervision.
